Brawny Bear Case Study

Brawny Bear is India’s 1st nutrition supplement made from dates, and with an option to be mixed with a variety of products like yogurt, ice cream, milk etc. Our process started with the brand positioning and strategy – understanding the product, trying products already available in the market, creating and articulating the brand seed and then translating it onto everything – From the brand visual language, the bear character, the illustration style, packaging design, communication etc.

We worked closely with the Brawny Bear team to create a brand that would be sophisticated, but with the quirkiness to appeal to a younger demographic and most importantly, a brand that would have the capacity to essentially become a challenger brand! The character, Brawny became the core driving force for the brand. Our illustrative team meticulously molded the characters traits, personality, and visual style to perfection.

The final result was a branding that stood way apart in the market, with an extremely good recall value and a strong framework for extending the identity and character across numerous channels.
